Information you provide
When you voluntarily request a resource or subscribe to updates, we may collect your first name and email address. If you contact us, we may also receive the information you include in your message. Please do not submit sensitive personal information through our website or email.
How we use information
We may use information you provide to deliver requested educational resources, confirm your subscription, send occasional reading resources and updates, respond to inquiries, support users, and improve Grammy's Reading Adventures. We do not sell personal information.
Email subscriptions and Kit
Our Welcome Kit signup and email list are managed through Kit (formerly ConvertKit). When you submit the Welcome Kit form, the information you enter is transmitted to Kit so that the requested resource and related email communications can be delivered. We use email confirmation to help verify that subscribers intended to join the list. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.
Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the website. Analytics may include information such as pages viewed, general referral source, device or browser information, approximate geographic information, and interactions with the site. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies as part of its service.
When the Welcome Kit form is submitted, our website sends Google Analytics a lead event identifying the Welcome Kit funnel. Our custom event does not send the name or email address entered in the form.
Cloudflare hosting and email routing
The website is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical information necessary to provide website security, performance, DNS, traffic delivery, and analytics services. We also use Cloudflare Email Routing to forward messages sent to our branded email addresses to the mailbox used to manage correspondence.
Links to YouTube and other social platforms
Our website may link to content on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other third-party services. When you follow a link to another platform, that service's own privacy policy and terms apply. At present, our Watch & Learn page links visitors to YouTube rather than embedding YouTube video players directly on the page.
Cookies and browser controls
Third-party services used on the website, including Google Analytics and Kit, may use cookies or similar technologies. You can limit or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some technologies may affect how certain website features work.
Children's privacy
Grammy's Reading Adventures creates educational content that children may enjoy with their families and educators, but the website's email signup and contact features are directed to adults.
